A curious and passionate social scientist. I wish to deepen the connection between academia and practice; first, by contributing meaningfully to applied scientific research in management and second, by actively promoting evidence based management at work.

Currently, I am a first year doctoral student in the OB group (coursework phase).

I love reading, debating, acting and exercising.

I was an integral part of corporate HR team that was planning and executing an organization wide change management program. The learning experience at work was an enriching one, with amazing opportunities to apply whatever I had learnt during my Masters program. My experience at work helped me greatly in developing a practitioner's perspective, something which I feel will guide me in producing good applied research.

Although still in the coursework phase, I am currently interested in the areas of social cognition, attitudes and social influence. Also, I am quite keen on exploring how research in experimental social psychology can be applied to managerial contexts.

PS: Areas of evolutionary psychology and personality psychology have always fascinated me. In future, I would love to do research in these areas.
