    Shankhadeep Banerjee

    Shankhadeep Banerjee is a doctoral student of Management Information Systems at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He is also an MBA (PGDM) graduate from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, who did his bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology (Durgapur), and also completed International Management Programme from NEOMA Business School, France as an exchange student.

    His research interests are primarily on contemporary human behaviors related to technology (like e-tailing adoption, online reviews, crowdfunding, etc.) investigated using quantitative methodology. He has published in premier journal like Decision Support Systems, and in proceedings of several prestigious international conferences/workshops like ICIS, ACIS, etc. He has prior IS research experience at Indian School of Business Hyderabad, where his research work on smart cities received press coverage at national level.

    He also has extensive IS practitioner experience at top technology firms like Microsoft, Amazon, and eBay in several techno-managerial roles.
