Area Of Specialization: Strategic Management

I have worked in IT industry for 8.5 years in the domain of Mortgage Banking, Retail and Insurance, including 4 years of overseas experience. I completed my Bachelor of Engineering from Jadavpur University in 2004 and now pursuing Doctoral program from IIM Calcutta. My hobbies include photography, playing flute and writing. I also enjoy travelling and all kinds of sports.

Firms' Environment-friendly Behavior, Family Business, Insitutional Contexts.

I focus on adoption of environment-friendly practices by emerging economy firms, and how ownership, as well as institutions, influence such adoption. Currently, I am looking at the adoption of renewable sources of energy by Indian firms under the heterogeneous ownership and institutional contexts.
